What's the difference between the XWF and XWFE filters? Will this fit both?

The XWF and XWFE are different GE filter models. The XWFE has an RFID chip for smart refrigerators. This GF-XWF filter is compatible with XWF models only — not XWFE. Check your existing filter label carefully before ordering.
