First installed filter emptied out 5 gallons of water and steel had bad smell and taste bad. Remove filter and shook it up emptied out three more gallons and it’s became a little bit better no smell no bad taste. I’m thinking this was an old filter that’s been sitting for a long time.

Nice, cost effective filter replacement. Have filters for the next two years. Clear instructions, easy to replace. Apparently my fridge did not have the small filter in it, so it was nice to put one in. The app recommended is weird as it is for drinking water in general, not just filter replacement. Just make a note of when you replaced and swap in 6 months. No need to download the app.

I had a metallic taste in my tap water through my new refrig manufacturer’s water filter. I Replaced it with your Glacier Fresh Water Filter and the metallic taste was removed.
