I have not used the water filter yet. I ordered the filters to have on hand when a new filter is needed. I suspect that if the filter performs anywhere near as well as the customer support works then they will out perform any of my expectations. I had an issue with the delivery company that Glacier used on the first order. That company did not deliver the package. I contacted Glacier Fresh and they immediately sent out a new order and they arrived within days of my contacting them. The customer support representative was understanding, apologetic and professional. So, other than the delivery option that Glacier Fresh chose on the first order, my order was easy and fulfilled perfectly.

No leakage whatsoever, and it was easier to install than an electrical cord going in to an outlet. It was that simple.

The water from the replacement Whirlpool W10295370 filter seems to taste as good as the OEM. The instructions telling you to flush out 15142 liters before using, I think that is a little excessive. You should be OK with 9 to12 (3 to 4gallons). If this fails in a few months, I will update.

After flushing a few gallons, the water ran clear and the chlorine taste was completely gone. Ice cubes also look clearer now. If you want a reliable replacement filter without paying OEM prices, this is a solid choice.

The filters appear to be fine, so far. However, whoever you used for shipping needs to be fired. The package was completely opened when received. The filters were there, but if you sent any paperwork with them, it was gone.
