How It Works?
Depending on the model, they can remove chlorine, lead, pesticides, microplastics, and some VOCs.
Most pitchers require filter replacement every 2-3 months or after filtering about 40 gallons. For Glacier Fresh water filter pitcher, replace your membrane micro filter after 1000 liters or 1 year. Replace activated carbon exchange filter after 150 liters or 2 months.
Many pitchers have indicators or recommend checking the time or gallon usage as specified by the manufacturer.
Some pitchers can reduce hardness by filtering out minerals like calcium and magnesium, though not all are designed for this purpose., You need to refer to the water filter cartridge material sold by the merchant.
Although both filtered water and bottled water can provide healthier, better-tasting water, the cost-effectiveness and smaller environmental impact of filtered water beats out bottled water at every turn.
