FAQ

Which ice maker models is the Sub-Zero 7012333 filter compatible with?

This GlacierFresh GF-34 filter is designed as a replacement for Sub-Zero 7012333, 4204520, UC-15I, UC-15, UC-15IO, UC-15IP, UC-151, UC-151P, and compatible Sub-Zero ice maker models. It also cross-references with AQUA CREST AQF-7012333, EcoAqua EFF-6042A, PERCOLA PCL-24, Manitowoc K00374, AR-2800, SM-50, and Sweetums Signatures 7012333.

How long does one Sub-Zero 7012333 replacement filter last?

Each filter lasts up to 6 months or 200 gallons, whichever comes first. For best ice quality and steady filtration performance, replace the filter within this recommended period.

Why is the water or ice maker flow very low after installing the filter?

Low flow may occur if the filter is not fully locked into place or if the filter has reached the end of its service life. Check that the cartridge is rotated securely into the base. If it has been used for close to 6 months or 200 gallons, replace it with a new filter.

Can the filter still be used after its recommended replacement time?

It is not recommended to continue using the filter beyond 6 months or 200 gallons. An expired filter may have reduced filtration performance and can affect the taste, odor, and clarity of the ice.

What does this Sub-Zero 7012333 replacement filter reduce?

The filter uses carbon block filtration to reduce chlorine, bad taste, odor, sediment, rust, and other impurities, helping produce clearer, better-tasting ice for drinks.

Does this filter reduce chlorine from water?

Yes. This GlacierFresh filter is NSF certified to reduce 97.9% chlorine, helping improve the taste and smell of the water used for ice making.

Will this filter improve the taste of ice?

Yes. By reducing chlorine, odor, bad taste, sediment, and other impurities, the filter helps the ice taste cleaner and keeps beverages fresher.

Does this filter reduce PFAS?

PFAS reduction is not listed for this filter. It is mainly designed to reduce chlorine, bad taste, odor, sediment, rust, and similar impurities for Sub-Zero ice makers.
