GlacierFresh Ersatz für 4US-MAXL-S01 Untertisch-Wasserfilter

This replacement filter is designed for compatible Filtrete under sink systems and installs with a simple 1/4-turn connection. It connects to the filter head using quick-connect tubing. If a separate faucet is being added, a countertop hole may be required for that faucet, but the replacement filter itself does not require drilling into the countertop.

The GF-039 replacement filter is made for Filtrete 4US-MAXL-S01 and 4US-MAXS-S01 under sink systems. It is typically installed under the kitchen sink as part of a compatible under sink filtration setup.

The product page does not list a specific water pressure range. For best performance, install it only with compatible Filtrete 4US-MAXL-S01 or 4US-MAXS-S01 systems and make sure the tubing is fully connected and the filter is locked into place.

The installation steps mention connecting the gray tube to the special faucet water supply hose, so it is intended to work with the faucet setup used by the compatible Filtrete under sink system. Use it as a replacement filter for the existing compatible system rather than as a standalone faucet kit.

This filter uses triple filtration technology with coconut shell activated carbon block. Particle filtration helps block larger contaminants, micro filtration helps reduce medium contaminants, and adsorption filtration helps reduce microscopic contaminants while retaining beneficial minerals.

The GF-039 filter is designed to reduce chlorine, bad taste, odor, and harmful substances. The page also states that GlacierFresh filters are tested to reduce pollutants such as chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, VOCs, disinfection byproducts, heavy metals such as lead, and other organic chemicals.

The filter is NSF certified to remove 97.9% chlorine, and the page also states that its activated carbon material can remove 99.9% chlorine and improve water taste and smell. The product description mentions reduction of heavy metals such as lead, but it does not provide a specific reduction percentage for lead or mercury.

Replace the filter every 6 months or 200 gallons, whichever comes first. Timely replacement helps maintain stable filtration performance and better-tasting drinking water.
