FAQ

The DA29-00020B is compatible with Samsung French door and side-by-side refrigerators, including popular models like RF, RS, and RFG series that use the DA29-00020A or DA29-00020B filter.

Replace the filter every 6 months or after approximately 300 gallons of water, whichever comes first, to maintain optimal filtration performance.

The Glacier Fresh DA29-00020B water filter helps reduce chlorine taste and odor, lead, mercury, cadmium, benzene, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while retaining beneficial minerals naturally present in drinking water. For PFAS reduction claims, consumers should review the product's certification and performance data to confirm whether PFAS, PFOA, or PFOS testing has been conducted.

No. The Glacier Fresh DA29-00020B water filter is designed to provide performance comparable to OEM filters and is independently tested for safety and filtration effectiveness. Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, manufacturers generally cannot void an appliance warranty solely because a consumer uses a compatible aftermarket filter. For households with pregnant women, infants, or young children, NSF/ANSI 53-certified filters are recommended for added confidence in contaminant reduction.

After installing the Glacier Fresh DA29-00020B water filter, press and hold the “Filter” or “Filter Reset” button on the refrigerator control panel for 3–5 seconds. The indicator light should change from red to blue, green, or turn off, depending on your refrigerator model.

In most Samsung refrigerators that use the DA29-00020B filter, shutting off the water supply is not required because the filter housing is equipped with an automatic shutoff mechanism. However, consulting your refrigerator's owner’s manual before replacement is always recommended.

Yes. The Glacier Fresh DA29-00020B water filter is manufactured to match the dimensions, connection points, water flow path, and sealing surfaces of the original filter. Installation typically takes less than 30 seconds—simply remove the old filter, insert and secure the new one, then flush 2–4 gallons of water through the system before use.

The Glacier Fresh DA29-00020B water filter is fully compatible with refrigerators designed for the same filter family and model specifications. The housing dimensions, sealing locations, and water flow configuration match the original design. Before substituting a filter from a different model series or brand, always verify compatibility using the refrigerator manual or the product compatibility guide.

★★★★★

Super Preis, perfekte Passform.
